PROJECTS & SELECTED WORK

Practical work.
Connected thinking.

Software, enterprise programs, and production operations. Different environments, with a common goal: make complicated work easier to understand and execute.

CURRENT WORK

Built from firsthand experience.

Production Assist is one expression of the same work I've done throughout my career: help people manage complicated systems with greater clarity.

In development

Production Assist

Software developed by Captain Hawk LLC.

A unified live-production control and automation platform integrating Blackmagic ATEM, OBS Studio, and ProPresenter. It brings my enterprise systems experience and years in live AV production into one practical software project.

  • API and WebSocket integration across production systems.
  • Selected voice-controlled workflows physically validated.
  • Operator safeguards and equipment-state verification.
  • Broader AI-assisted capabilities under development.

From the control room to connected software.

Live productions ask people to coordinate multiple systems while the event keeps moving. My role is to turn that operational reality into a structured software delivery program.

I lead requirements, integration architecture, iterative development, automated testing, hardware validation, and release acceptance for a .NET-based platform using APIs and WebSocket communications.

Physically validated

Selected voice-controlled production workflows using speech recognition, command interpretation, confirmation safeguards, device actions, and equipment-state verification.

Under development

Expanded integrations, AI-assisted preparation workflows, and commercial release readiness.

Development milestones do not constitute full product qualification or commercial availability.

SELECTED CASE STUDIES

The problem comes first.

01 / Enterprise Delivery

Give complex programs a clear path.

Context
Concurrent enterprise programs bring different budgets, teams, dependencies, and delivery risks into the same operating environment.
Approach
Translate business needs into milestones, owners, dependencies, reporting expectations, and a delivery rhythm people can follow.
Evidence
At Caterpillar, managed programs ranging from $20K to $14.5M annually and received the CEO Innovation Award for leadership on a supply-chain initiative.

02 / Business Systems

Connect the order to the operation.

Context
Custom manufacturing depends on coordinated order processing, production, fulfillment, and customer communication.
Approach
Lead Shopify implementation, digital integrations, and repeatable workflows connecting the customer-facing store to everyday production.
Evidence
Operating and technology leadership in a manufacturing and e-commerce business exceeding $1 million in annual revenue.

03 / Practical AI & Production

Turn a spoken request into a verified action.

Context
In a live production, recognizing a command is only one part of completing a dependable workflow.
Approach
Connect speech recognition and command interpretation to confirmation safeguards, device actions, and real-time equipment-state checks.
Evidence
Selected voice-controlled production workflows physically validated in development. Broader AI-assisted capabilities remain under development.

LET’S CONNECT

Have a worthwhile problem to solve?

Technology leadership, practical software, operations, and partnerships. I'm interested in work where those come together.
