MY STORY

Different chapters.
One consistent instinct.

Find the friction. Understand the people. Build a better way to do the work.

“People want good tools, good information, and the confidence to do their work well.”

My career has never fit into one category. The connection has always been practical problem-solving.

01

Enterprise technology taught me to lead complexity.

At IBM and Caterpillar, the work involved large programs, technical dependencies, competing priorities, and people with different responsibilities.

Delivery meant creating enough structure for those people to move together: clear scope, clear ownership, and honest visibility into progress and risk.

02

Entrepreneurship made the responsibility personal.

Building and operating a manufacturing and e-commerce business connected every technology decision to the customer, the staff, the cost, and the quality of the finished work.

A system has to earn its place by making everyday operations better.

03

Live production kept the operator in focus.

Through 18 years of church AV leadership, I worked with audio, video, streaming, technical equipment, teams, and volunteers.

In a live service or event, clarity and dependable workflows matter immediately. The person using a tool needs to understand what it will do—and what happened afterward.

04

Today, those lessons come together.

My current work spans software integration, digital commerce, workflow automation, and Production Assist, developed by Captain Hawk LLC. The platform draws on both enterprise discipline and firsthand production experience.

AI creates useful possibilities when connected to real systems with thoughtful safeguards and verified outcomes. That is the direction I’m working toward: practical assistance that supports the people responsible for the work.
